Introductory Safeguarding (Level 1) in Education

Our FREE Introductory (Level 1) Safeguarding course is designed to equip educators and other professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to confidently identify, assess, and respond to Safeguarding concerns within education settings. If you work with children and young people, this course will enhance your ability to protect those in your care.

By completing this course, you'll be better prepared to prevent harm, promote the wellbeing of vulnerable individuals, and meet professional standards. This training combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, ensuring you gain the skills you need to act when safeguarding issues occur.

 

This course is written in line with the statutory guidance for schools and colleges on safeguarding children and safer recruitment - Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2026, and is compliant with the requirements for Level 1 Safeguarding certification.
